Why am I beating a dead horse?

I know there is vitually no chance to revive ALCA-FTAA, but it would be great for both the United states and Mercosur if they could work out their differences and get this program off the ground and working. Is Mercosur going to continue to emulate the European Economic Union? ¡My God! and ¡Good Grief! Look how the EEU is falling apart at the seams! The system is simply untenable. I have some hopes for Nestor Kirchner, who hosted the last meeting, where George Bush was met with ¨Fuera Bush¨signs in the streets of Plaza de Mayo. Too bad . . . so sad. Tabaré Vasquez is the wildcard now, waiting to see how far to the left he actually is now that he´s elected to the presidency of Uruguay to replace Jorge Batlle who had been the ally of the U.S. How will Presidente Vasquez adjust to his promotion? Prior to this he had served for quite some time as the mayor of Montevideo. An important post to be sure, but still not the same as leading his country. He has my best wishes, I sincerly hope he does a good job.

Mi intento es escribir en español

Estoy aprendiendo español leyendo los trabajos de Juan Zorrilla de San Martín , Juana de Ibarbourou, Arturo Capdevila, Rafael Alberto Arrieta, y Julio Herrera y Reissig, entre otros. Aprendo la gran literatura, pero me también tengo que investigar algunas palabras obsoletas. Esto también considera mi interés en mercosur y política suramericana. Mis amigos piensan que soy zanahoria para tomar un interés en las elecciones en Montevideo Y Buenos Aires. Quizá correctos, pero esto es. Y tengo quizá razón y ALCA es más importante que nuestro reñir local.

concedido, los Estados Unidos no deben haber firmado un tratado con Chile solo. Era diplomacia pobre y lastimó las ocasiones para que el Mercosur y NAFTA vengan a un acuerdo. Nuestro presidente demonstró una carencia del tacto tratando del Chile. uno puede conjeturar solamente en el aumento economico que se cosechará por la unión económica entre los Estados Unidos y Mercosur. Si sucede siempre, ése es.

Soy finalmente trasero y mas pensamientos sobre ALCA

Tengo una computador y un servidor nuevos. Es un iMac G5 y finalmenté aumenté al DSL. Con todo entrando encendido en el mundo, cada uno se parece haberse olvidado de ALCA. Eso es un vergüenza, él demonstró tal promesa. Mercosur y NAFTA estaban tan cerca de alcanzar de acuerdo.

I will be off line until a couple of days before the New Year when I will have my new iMac hooked up. I will take the opportunity to now say Feliz Navidad, Frohe Weinachten, or have a Happy Christmas. I'll be back around the 28th of December.
