Happy Thanksgiving!

A Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless you All! Just celebrated a couple days late but its great to have the family together for Roast Turkey and the fixings. Hope eveyone had as good a weekend as I did.

Can't even let Katie Couric and Matt Lauer host a parade! If you can't be honest about a parade you can't be trusted with anything!

When the "M&M" balloon crashed and injured sisters Sarah(9)and Mary(26 and in a wheelchair)Chamberlain during the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade NBC coverage hosted by Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, and Al Roker didn't give any mention of the incident. They played a film of the balloon in last years parade and pretended nothing had happened. If they won't even be honest about a Thanksgiving paradewe can be sure they can't bring themselves to be honest about reporting the war in Iraq, as if there were any doubt on that anyway.
No wonder Fox News Channel has wiped them off the mapg. Even if you don't agree with those people (O'Reilly,Hannity & Colmes,Van Sustren et.al.) at least they are honest. Like George W. Bush, like him or not, agree with him or not, the man is honest and that cannt be denied.

Area de Libre Comercio de las Americas or Free Trade Area of the Americas

ALCA/FTAA is badly needed to increase access to markets especially for the Mercosur countries. Granted protection for consumers and their own markets need to be built in, that is part of the MAI that among other items that will be part of the agreement when it is finalized. That cannot be done until meetings are begun, should have started by Jan. 1 2005, why the holdup? Don't settle for WTO it's a mess.

Is FTAA making progress? Has Mercosur finally decided it is time to grow?

Mercosur, NAFTA, and CAFTA are fine as far as they go but none go far enough. GATS is incomplete and the Andes Pact faces insurmountable obstacles between Argentina and Chile. NAFTA and CAFTA are incomplete as is Mercosur. For example NAFTA will not work to its best in the U.S. so long as the border is insecure. For Mercosur to be entirely successful Uruguay must demonopolize. Jorge Batlle had the right idea, demonopolizing(privatization) at a gradual rate is necessary in order for his country to have a healthy ecomomy. I hope Tabare Vazquez doesn't lean too much towards the European Economic Union just to avoid the U.S. because the EEU has already proven to be a dismal failure. The unempolyment rate is ridiculous with some 10% of European children living in households with both parents on the dole.
Before FTAA is established we'll have to de-regulate foreign investment and establish a solid MAI(Mulitlateral Agreemment on Investment) but both are doable, and could possibly be in effect, but for the lack of an agreement of a meeting in the first place. Let's get started already!

Whats intelligent about Darwins design?

All you have to know about in order to reject the concept of the so called "family tree" of the evolutionists it the "Cambrian explosion". During the Cambrian period 35 out of 40 phyla appeared with no antecedents.

Chrissie Matthews foot in mouth again!

It was yesterday (November 20th) at the University of Toronto Chrissy Matthews made the brilliant observation that "The other side isn't wrong, they they just have a different perspective." No further comment necessary to that. Wish he would stay in Toronto. My apologies to my Canadian neighbors, I shouldn't wish Matthews on them even in jest. Those half-wit libs have caused enough damage to Canada. Anyone got an idea of a place to which we can deport Matthews to where he will cause no harm to anyone but himself and the rest of the terror apologists.

Crappa Nui?

Ever watch the history channel special on the Rappa Nui and Easter Island? How do the come up with a complete history for an Island where there are no indigionous people? A history that includes the history of multiple tribes, how they managed to wipe each other out and desrtoy the forest and landscape that used to cover the island. Thats what they say.
They evidently have found a decsendant to tell them enough so they can guess at the rest. (i.e. make up a story to fit whatever p.c. malarky that they think will get an award or at least a grant) What I loved is where they went to a cave and said it had two meanings. The first is; The cave where men went to eat. The second meaning is; The cave where men go to be eaten. They left out the third and most important one The cave where gullible men go to believe anything they are told. The show was a surprise to me mostly by the fact of being on the history channel and not the sci-fi channel. The bird man cult they mentioned in this was right out of Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century. You won't find that show anywhere now except the Sci-fi channel and rightly so. This show deserves to be placed on the sci-fi channel with the rest of science fiction.

What AIDS epidemic!!!

Check it out for yourself, google bangui1985report with no spaces. You'll find that in Africa the UN in an effort to get more money from the rich countries(U.S.)they changed the definition of Aids. If a person was 10% underweight, had protracted weakness(asthenia), and repeated attacks of fever for a month they earned 11 points out of a 50 point diagnosis system based on teir symptoms and signs. A cough was worth two points. The fist three symptoms being present for any reason and including a cough establish a diagnosis of AIDS which required 12 points.
This scam is excused by the lack of adequate diagnosing facilities. For this reason alone was brought about the lie that AIDS had both reached epidemic proportions and infected the non-homosexual population. When the AIDS diagnosis no longer required the HIV virus present then both sexed began to be diagnosed with the disease, but not until then. It still hasn't to any great degree with the minor exception of druggies, but try telling that to the MSM, the truth is not PC. Not that the the truth has meant anything to the newspapers or the Networks (expcept FoxNews) for years. I've had to put up with the Sacramento Bee ever since the Union had to give up the ghost in 1994.

Survival of the fittest or the battiest?

Survival of the fittest. How can you prove that? Any organism that is either fit enought or lucky enough to survive will become by definition one of the "fittest" that has survived. Can't be proven because it can't be seen until after the fact. You'll never know if they were actually the fittest or just lucky, it does happen. After all the Twins won the World Series a couple of times, I'm a fan but I have to admit that that took plenty of luck!
As far as the missing links in fossils goes, there is one species that has no missing links and that is the bat. Problem is the very first bat is virtually the same as todays bat. They did not require evolution to develop radar over the eons, the very first bat came completely radar equiped same as the bats you'll find out at night today. Maybe that is why when there is a complete record available the Darwinists won't use it, because it disproves their claims.

Cyclones Win Big!

Iowa State 30-16 over Colorado Buffalo to move into a 2 way tie 4-3 for second place with Missouri in the Big 12 North division behind 5-2 Colorado with one more game left. ISU has lost to Missouri in overtime already, though so they need for last place Kansas State 1-6 to upset the Tigers while they defeat the Jayhawks of Kansas(2-5). Colorado faces Nebraska who at 3-4 needs to win the last game to finish at .500. If nothing else happens right at least Nebraska league record won't be better than .500.....how cool is that.. been waiting a long time for the Huskers to hit the skids!!!

A harder look at Fitzgeralds attempt to get Lewis Libby

Another political ploy uncovered. I hadn't realized this was a secret, but from reading the newspapers and watching the news it appears that the media at least appears to be under the impression the Lewis "Scooter" Libby is some kind of criminal mastermind. Lets take a look-see. The Identities Protection Act of 1982 and the Espionage Act of 1917 are the two statutes being used as excused for these indictments. To have violated the 1982 law Mr. Libby must have known that Valerie Plame was a covert agent and Intentionally disclosed that information....and she has to have served abroad within 5(five) years of said disclosure. If anyone is to be indicted it would be Joe Wilson who has been telling all and sundry in D.C. about his wifes' job for the last few years. but that is old news.
IN THE FIRST PLACE SHE HAS BEEN STATESIDE SINCE 1997, considerably longer than the five year limit.
Then there is the 1917 statute. It required the Mr Libby has to (a). Acquire classified information in his official capacity(as an adivsor to the V.P.?) and (b.intentionally communitcated that information to a person or persons who was not entitled to receive it and (c). he also must have reason to believe the info could be used to the injury of the United States of the advantage of a foreign nation to the detriment of this country. Even if you stretch your imagination enough to believe that he gave information about Ms.Plame to a reporter that hadn't already heard from Joe Wilson, how do you make a case that talking about a U.S based C.I.A. beaurocrat (she has been sitting at a desk now for over 7 years, verified) is harmful to U.S. security via foreign affairs. The only injury to the U.S. or help to a foreign country is the unpatriotic hoopla the Democrats and their enablers in the media and their pimps like Joe Wilson and Prosecuter Fitgerald are raising to take attention off the important affairs of the country while they have another self-imploding Bush-hating tantrum.
While he may not be perfect, at least George W. Bush is a good and honest man. Certainly can't say that about Harry Reid, Dick(Deanna) Durbin, or Teddy(Chappaquiddick) Kennedy.

Senate Lockdown-Another Brilliant Tactical Decision

In a stunning display of intelligence the fearless leaders of the Dem. party displayed the savvy that has kept them in power and maintained their popularity with the mainstream of America by shutting down the senate over the bogus indictment of Lewis Libby? Come on guys, while I'm not a particular fan of Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Deanna I mean Baghdad Dick Durbin I thought even they had more brains than that. This is such an obvious political ploy that it is backfiring even before the senate shutdown is over. Get a grip fellows, all of America is watching you and you're just embarrassing yourselves. President Bush and his men have made a few mistakes, granted, but honest mistakes or the errors in judgement that follow placing trust in your friends as opposed to intentionally misleading or downright lying, which is dangerously close to becoming the weapon of first choice for the Democrats leadership especially in the persona of Pelosi, Feinstein, Reid, Schumer, and Chappaquiddick Teddy Kennedy.
